Our online market serves all!
Everything that our family offers for sale was grown and processed here on our farm in Southern Maryland. We plant, tend, and harvest our crops in fields, high tunnels, greenhouses, and our orchard so that you can enjoy seasonal, local food year-round. We process and package a wide variety of grains, beans, and seeds that we grow onsite at our farm, where we also mill-to-order (CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO FIRE LOSS). By selling directly to the consumer, Next Step Produce encourages you to join us in sustaining a local community.
Our schedule is as follows: FRIDAYS 5 PM - Our online market opens for orders; MONDAYS 5 AM - Your deadline to submit orders; MONDAYS/TUESDAYS - We aggregate, harvest, mill, and pack to order; WEDNESDAYS - Your orders are distributed for pickup or delivery.

We offer locations in MD, VA, and DC where you can pick up your orders on Wednesdays. On a more flexible basis, you can pick up your order directly at the farm in Newburg, MD. Below are the locations and pickup windows. Details about the pickup locations will be provided as you register with our online market.

We invite you to set up an online account if you are a baker, processor, chef, restaurateur, or reseller located along our delivery routes to Washington, DC. Next Step Produce makes weekly deliveries to the greater DC Metropolitan area from our farm in Newburg, Maryland. WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT MAKING DELIVERIES TO THE BALTIMORE / ANNAPOLIS AREA DUE TO FIRE LOSS.
